is the hp psc 2210 any good for doing this.. sorry i'm a newb just
wondering if that is good equipment to get started

umm the reason for the c series printers is not because they are the
best. Its because they use the amazing epson durabrite inks. This is
like printing with plastic and also afford you the ablity to print on
laser teslin because the inks dry immediately, unlike all other inkjet
inks that run when printed on teslin without the special absorbtion
coating for inkjet inks

A downfall of the coating is that bonding of the laminate
suffers...there is no a complete bond because it is bonding to the
coating and not the actual teslin, unlike with the laser teslin.

The difference in resolution is not noticable and the benefits of using
laser teslin make up the slim lack in print quality....plus theyre A
LOT cheaper

best printing for ids are almost any epson printer. Epson 2200, R300
are really nice.. any R series.. Back in the day everyone was using the
c82, but the 2200 is amazing.. you can find it on ebay for prob like
300 - 350 $ now (retail is 650)
