well i am about to take off on the road again this time i'll be heading
west. thankyou rush for your help and info. even without an alps
printer i was still able to reproduce a workable colo holo still
having trouble withthe laminating. i will try to get some krty pouches.
and i got some of the adventure paper(teslin) although it isn't glossy
and without the right printer doesn't do me much good. the only problem
with the holo's is i can't print clear or white with my printer so i
have to print the holo's in yellow at about 10% opacity. after i dust
them with the gold inferance powder they look real good in the light
but leave kinda a dirty look when not in light, and i print them first
then run my template through the printer agian for the id. kinda looks
2d(flat) which doesn't help the holo's stand out of the template very
well tried uting the holo's on the sorry pouches i have but when i send
the pouches through the laminater the heat sometimes fades the embosing
powder. I know that i am going to need a lot of practice and the right
equipment before i can get a passable id. if you or anyone wants to
help me with this i would repay the favor ten fold. i understand that
there are just to many eyes in these open forums. but if anyone is
willing to take me as an apprentice and show me the right way to do
this we can either chat on the phone or e-mail. and if your anywhere
between colorado to california we can even get together and help each
other out. basically i have a pretty solid hustle and am willing to
show the right person if the right person is willing to help me out.
thanks again and take care. thedevil
