Question about PVC plastic??

I have not tried to make any form of id....yet but i was just wondering
if i did start when you print out a template say of Arizona than what
are you supposed to print it on. Ive read about laminating it but on
the arizona ids its not laminate its actual plastic. as are most ids.
So how would one go about obtaining that? Or doing it.

Buying a pvc printer or I read some techinque where someone printed it
on an overhead then used a clothing iron to transfer the image onto the
pvc. For the holos you will need to put it on an overlam. I don't know
if you can use a laminator to put a overlam on or if you would require
a heat press.
